Are you someone who has worked in banking or as a contractor for several years and are looking for career development?
Perhaps you are at a consulting firm and not convinced that the path to Director is there for you? Unsure about the quality of the leadership team?
I've been helping my client grow its business for the past 10 years introducing people from UBS, Nomura, Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, EY and Capco among others. They have some of the best work across risk and controls advisory, regulatory change and broad investment banking projects.
Currently they are looking to add to their manager and senior manager pool. This is a progressive team that can offer a commercial angle to your CV, giving you the chance to work with senior people across the banking sector, delivering and pitching for work.
If you have worked in and around the following types of project, I would love to speak to you:
- risk and control framework redesign and/or optimisation
- redesigning booking model and control frameworks to optimise for legal entity changes and cost pressures
- offshoring and nearshoring risk and controls functions
- digital and technology enablement working on cost and automation opportunities across risk and control
- helping technology teams to design fit for purpose risk and controls solutions (we are looking for tech savvy, not techologists)
- ideally someone with regulatory change delivery experience across Libor, Mifid 2, Basel 3, SFTR, trade and transaction reporting projects
- experience crafting and shaping complex reports to be sent to the regulators as well as preparing the business for regulatory reviews
We would also consider someone who would like to focus solely on delivery though with consulting there will always be elements sell-on work, pitching and submitting information for RFP
For senior managers, the sweetspot pay is £90-105K base + 5K cash + 12% pension + 20% average bonus. For specific skills and those with an entrepreneurial/commercial streak, up to £120K base.
