As the Head of Partnerships, your primary focus will be on developing and managing relationships with reselling partners, such as Payment Service Providers (PSPs), to drive company growth in the online payments sector. You will also explore other partnership possibilities to support our expansion efforts. Your strategic vision and ability to identify mutually beneficial partnerships will be instrumental in entering new markets and winning as many merchants (customers) as possible.

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive partnerships strategy, with a primary focus on reselling partners like PSPs, to support the company's overall growth and expansion objectives in the online payments arena.
  • Partnership Identification: Identify and evaluate potential partners, including PSPs, banks, fintech companies, technology providers, and other relevant organizations within the online payment ecosystem that can drive growth.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with strategic reselling partners and other stakeholders to ensure a continuous pipeline of collaboration opportunities and mutual benefits.
  • Deal Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of partnership agreements, ensuring that they align with the company's strategic goals and deliver maximum value.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Growth Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of existing reselling partnerships and other alliances, recommending adjustments to strategies and tactics as needed to optimize results.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the online payment space, leveraging this knowledge to inform partnership strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing Partnerships team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances role within the online payment, fintech, or SaaS industries, with a focus on reselling partners such as PSPs.
  • Strong understanding of Open Banking PSD2 and the broader online payment ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.al service organization
