Permanent Part time - 22.12 hours per week
3 Days Working Monday to Wednesday
Salary Grade 2 i.e. £21,575 - £22,777 per annum Pro Rata
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our busy Revenues & Benefits Unit based at Queens Buildings, Worksop.
You will be part of the Revenues and Benefits Administration Team providing support to the teams within Benefits and Council Tax. This will involve undertaking tasks associated with applications of Housing Benefit, Council Tax discounts and Council Tax liabilities. You will be responsible for dealing with customer queries either in person, telephone, email or in writing. You must therefore have effective communication skills, both written and oral and have the confidence to deal with difficult or sensitive situations.
You must also have relevant experience of working in an office or customer service environment, good computer skills including the use of Microsoft products and mobile services. Experience of working in a means-tested benefits area or Local taxation would be an advantage.
This position will be subject to a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service check.
