Hancocks Cash & Carry is part of the World of Sweets Group and is the country’s leading confectionery trade-only cash and carry.

We have a vacancy for a part time position (16 hours per week) at our Chester-Le-Street (DH2 1AG) branch.

Hours of work are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. and Wednesday 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

Key duties:

• Checkout operation.
• Stock replenishment.
• Give great customer service.
• To join as part of a small, friendly, hard-working team.

Requirements

• Experience within a retail or wholesale environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Cash handling / till / checkout experience preferred but not essential.
• Good organisational skills and a grasp of basic numeracy.
• The ability to communicate well at all levels.
• The drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment.
• A friendly and approachable person who can build relationships with both customers and staff.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £10.42-£10.82 per hour
