We are recruiting for Full Time Food and Beverage Assistants to join the team at the Thurlestone Hotel working in the hotels Trevilder Restaurant.
Live in accommodation is available in our newly opened fully refurbished staff house just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The Thurlestone Hotel is a luxury, family-owned, 4-star 65-bedroom hotel situated on the spectacular South Devon coast. The hotel includes the 2 AA Rosette Trevilder Restaurant, Voyage Spa, 9-hole golf course, The Village Inn Pub as well as a range of sports facilities and a seasonal kids club.

About the role
Looking after our guests in the hotels 2AA Rosette restaurant which serves breakfast, children’s supper and dinner daily. This role involves waiting on and serving our guests in the restaurant and also assisting the wider food and beverage department which includes the bar, afternoon tea and al fresco dining at the Rock Pool Bistro.
We are looking for team members who will confident in running their own section during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Giving a warm welcome to all guests and interacting with them during their visit
- Take orders accurately and ensure any dietary requirements are communicated clearly to the kitchen
- Prepare service stations, stillroom and all work areas following the pre-service and after service checklists
- Ensure all front of house and back of house areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Serving food and drinks to guests
- Ensuring all Health & Safety, Food Hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times
- Support the wider Food and Beverage team with service throughout the bars, lounges and catering outlets.
- Display excellent product knowledge to help guests in making their choices
Hours
Full time hours working 5 days a week approximately 48 hours per week.
