Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Bars Manager to join our award-winning team at sketch. This is your chance to join a company that is passionate about its people, its food and wine with lots of opportunities to grow and develop your career.

As a Assistant Bars manager you are expected to work 44 hours a week. The role is predominately evenings; however, it also requires day and middle shifts. It is the responsibility of the A ssistant Bars Manager to manage their shifts.

Salary for Bars Manager is £37,500.00 a year.

As Assistant Bars Manager you will be responsible for ensuring our guests experience is prompt, helpful, and sincere whilst focusing on the key performance indicators. You will have to manage and train all staff working in the Gallery Bar & East Bar (15+ staff). We are expecting you to be the face of both bars and to ensure that they remain successful and unique venues, renowned for the quality of drinks, excellent customer service and welcoming atmosphere.

Your focus will be on the execution of the standards set out by management in the Gallery Bar and East Bar. You will be responsible for bar deliverables and service standards, for the day-to-day bars’ operation and guests’ experience, and of course, for training all staff members to a level of knowledge that would score above 85% in all relevant tests.

For this Assistant Bars Manager position previous managerial/supervisor experience is a must. We are looking for someone who understands how a successful bar works in all aspects.Your love for hospitality will be reflective in your views of guest satisfaction and team engagement. We are searching for someone who is a career minded individual, keen on continuous development on this gastro-centric cocktail bar, led by some passionate individuals.
