Responder/Call Handler Required
Location: Derby
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £13.30
This role will be working night shifts only • 23:00pm to 07:00am
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has call handling experience. This role would guarantee long term work and fixed 37.5hrs per week with some overtime available.
You will be working for a company that provides a 365 days, 24hr a day service that supports people who wish to remain living independently. You as a Call Handler/Responders will then discuss and assess the nature of the emergency and will action an appropriate response. Responding themselves if required. In the case of a serious emergency, the emergency services will also be contacted.
Your role will induce
- Call handling services
- Responding to emergency situations including lifting uninjured customers using specialist equipment provided. (Full training provided)
- Carrying out safe and well checks to support vulnerable people living in the community.
- Installing and maintaining emergency call equipment in customer’s homes
Due to the nature of the role some parts of the shift will be office based and other parts will require candidates to respond to customers in their own homes.
You will be working x 5 7.5 on a rolling rota basis including weekends and bank
- Hours are 37.5 per week Based at the main site offices (On-site parking available) we ask you to have excellent communication and computer skills and ideally will have Call Centre experience or an understanding of social care with the elderly. Full training will be given.
All candidates will be required to have an:
· Enhanced Adults DBS (we can help provide this)
· Full manual driving license
