Class 1 Service Driver
As a key worker working in our Healthcare Division, you play a key part in the success of phs. To our customers, you are the face of the company. Your excellent customer service skills will help keep our customers happy – and ensure they remain our customers!
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Class 1 Driver to carry out the high standard of driving that is required for this role.
A day in the life of a Class 1 Service Driver at phs will involve;
- You will follow planned routes, using PDA devices to confirm collections, manage any site access issues. We use in-cab technology but if you can operate a satellite navigation device and a smart phone, you will have no problem with these.
- You will pick up low grade offensive waste from the depot and take this to be incinerated and then return to the depot to exchange trailers.
The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Service Driver role at phs will:
- Safety and legal compliance are a must. We welcome applications from people with a good safety record.
- Full, clean Driving licence (LGV Class1) and Digi Tach holder.
- Good driving skills and knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations
- Driver CPC training would be an advantage, however further training will be provided.
