At Vodafone UK, diversity isn’t just a buzzword, it is core to who we are as a company. We’re proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work and are committed to driving inclusion for all; creating a workplace that is fully representative of the communities and customers we serve.

As a Digital resourcing partner within the Vodafone UK Resourcing team, you will be responsible for partnering the UK IT Digital team in order to deliver end to end resourcing support.

What you’ll do

You will be responsible for building strong relationships with your business area in order to both anticipate and respond to their resourcing needs, fulfilling incoming demand in innovative and creative ways whilst acting as a positive ambassador of the Vodafone employer brand. You will also be responsible for proactively defining the talent attraction approach for your area, in alignment with the broader functional attraction strategy, and proactively generating talent pipelines based on future needs.

  • You will partner closely with your business stakeholders in order to understand broader business priorities, skill and capability requirements. Challenge and build awareness around key focus areas including D&I.
  • You will collaborate with the HRBP team to build a detailed understanding of business priorities and develop a proactive/evolving Resourcing plan for the area. Ensure delivery within defined budgets and to agreed timescales/KPIs.
  • You will monitor both the quality and potential of all hires and ensure that the attraction, selection and assessment stages of the recruitment process support ‘raising the bar’.
  • You will maintain in depth knowledge or the external labour market and share talent insights when required.
  • You will conduct competitor talent mapping and grow talent pipelines to meet the future resource requirements of the business functions, including a diverse & inclusive talent attraction plan.
  • You will ensure that the end to end recruitment process supports a positive candidate experience at all times.
  • You will work in close conjunction with the other Resourcing Partners/Specialists to share best practice and ensure that a collaborative and consistent approach is adopted across the Vodafone UK and Group.
  • You will attract active and passive talent in line with our employer value proposition (EVP), producing content to promote diversity and attract talent in niche positions.

Who you are

  • You will have experience recruiting digital capabilities, including but not limited to front / back-end development and agile scrum master / chapter leads.
  • You will have proven 360 cycle recruitment experience, delivering effective recruitment campaigns and solutions to meet business needs within agreed budget, KPI’s and timescales.
  • You will evidence of success in using direct recruitment methods, with strong social media sourcing expertise.
  • You will prior experience of working in resourcing team within large corporate /matrix organisations.
  • You will evidence of developing strong stakeholder relationships through a consultative and inclusive approach in a matrix environment.
  • You will have strong operational focus, combined with commercial and business acumen.
  • You will have the ability to manage ambiguity and the resilience to drive the right behaviours and approaches to achieve the desired results.
