Job description
About us
Applications are invited for a Post Doctoral Research Fellow position in the UCL Division of Infection and Immunity in a research team led by Professor Clare Jolly. The post is funded by a Wellcome Investigator Award to Professor Jolly to study HIV infection in T cells, focusing on what makes a T cell permissive to infection and the cell biology of virus-host interactions. Key goals are to understand the mechanisms by which HIV reprograms T cells to support efficient infection, viral spread and persistence. We also have an interest in how HIV and SARS-CoV-2 interact with host cell innate immunity. The group currently comprises an interdisciplinary team of molecular virologists, immunologists, and cell biologists. Applicants with expertise in any of these areas will be particularly welcomed.
