Job description
A true social native and creative, the Social Content Creator will be a natural when it comes to generating social media content for multiple platforms. Your varied skill-set will see you move seamlessly between directing, designing, editing and featuring in social content itself. You will have a finger-on-the-pulse of the latest trends and entertainment, understanding instinctively when it is appropriate for Threads to lean into a trend and when not. Working across multiple categories you will be able to create content that is suitable for all Threads BUs and client segments.
This role reports directly into our Social Media Manager and is based out of our London HQ.
This role and the team are hybrid based out of Telephone House in Shoreditch, London. This role does have in-office expectations because of how we operate as a team and business, and although we’re really open to what those are and how they work, this team does require 3/4 days a week together in the office.
Salary for this role is between £30-33k per annum based on experience.
Requirements:
You Will:
- Create engaging, innovative and relevant multimedia content for distribution across Threads core social platforms - Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook and Whatsapp.
- Work collaboratively with the social media team, Head of Content and wider content team to concept, develop and produce engaging social first and market leading fashion and lifestyle content
- Create content that is in line with the Threads brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Participate in brainstorms for content, always evolving output and pushing boundaries
- Ability to both direct content and feature as the face of a piece of content
- Understand the performance of your content and how to repeat or refresh your content output.
- Understand how to utilise content to grow and develop audiences around the world
You Have:
- Native use of social media platforms, specifically - Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook and Whatsapp.
- Comfortable in front of the camera for both video and stills content.
- Understanding of the global social media landscape and digital media.
- Up-to-date with the luxury fashion brand landscape, fashion trends and designers.
- A background in styling with extensive brand knowledge is a bonus
- Up-to-date with hashtags and best practice social media techniques.
- Proficiency with social media platforms to create and upload content.
- Understanding of video/ image editing tools such as Adobe and Premiere is desirable.
- Knowledge of social media insights, analytics and scheduling tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, curating and creating reactive social content.
