Job description
Pulse are currently recruiting for multiple UK based counsellors to undertake adhoc / sessional work for a leading global provider of online, digital therapies.
Private practice with no overheads!
- Join the world's largest online counselling platform.
- Put simply: You provide the clinical expertise, we take care of everything else. And we mean everything else.
Our client is looking for counsellors to join their network of therapists delivering therapy to adults who are suffering from mild and low risk mental health conditions, including depression, stress and anxiety. The counsellors will conduct a variety of live and non-live sessions with patients, and have full flexibility to manage their own diary, hours and caseload - working the hours they wish. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is already working, and would like a flexible way to top up their income or someone who is looking for a new full time role.
Benefits:
- Consistent referrals: Full clinical caseload can be established within the first 30 days.
- Zero overhead: No fees are collected from the counsellor, ever.
- Flexible schedule: You are always in control of your schedule and appointment times.
- The platform can be your major source of income ("full time") or a supplement to your current work.
- Autonomy over clinical decisions: You are the licensed and trained clinician, and so the client will defer to your clinical judgment and expertise about the most effective and clinically appropriate approach for each client.
- Resources to support you: Counsellors on the platform receive a free account – so you can dedicate time to your own self-care!
Who Should Apply:
- Counsellors looking for an easy, all-in-one technology platform for telehealth.
- Counsellors who want to focus 100% on clinical work – not on acquiring clients, billing, support, or operations. (We handle all of that!)
- Counsellors who want the opportunity to work with specific populations or present concerns.
- Counsellors who are obsessed with privacy and confidentiality, and want a state-of-the-art technology platform with a secure, encrypted phone, video, and text-based communication.
Requirements:
Counsellors must be members of the BACP (Registered Member Accred, Registered Member MBACP or Registered Member MBACP Snr Accred) or NCS (Accredited Registrant MNCS Accred, Accredited Professional Registrant MNCS Prof Accred, Senior Accredited Registrant MNCS Snr Accred).
- At least 3 years experience counselling adults.
- A private environment for conducting sessions remotely.
- Excellent written communication.
- Must have professional liability insurance.
- Must pass a background check.
- Reliable Internet connection.
- Currently residing in the UK.
This is a sessional role, where post holders work as associates rather than substantive employees, and can manage their own tax and NI payments. The post offers very attractive rates of pay, where you can earn up to £75,000 per annum!
