About the role
We have a position for an organised individual to join our Research and Enterprise Division (RED) within one of our Post Award teams. This role will be a member of one of three College facing Post Award teams within RED, and will report to the Post Award Finance Manager.You will carry out financial administration of externally funded project accounts ensuring compliance with University regulations and funding body requirements, and to ensure the maximum funds are received as promptly as possible. The role will provide expert advice and support on the use and management of external funds, liaising with Principle Investigators, departmental administrators and project partners external to the University, for accurate and timely financial information.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong track record of relevant accounting experience, with demonstrable knowledge of accounting principles and financial matters. This will include strong practical experience using excel and other Microsoft packages.We are looking for a strong team player who is able to organise and prioritise their workload in the face of competing deadlines, with a positive solution-seeking outlook.
