- Carry our basic account management responsibilities of your assigned accounts including:
- In partnership with the Channel team, proactively oversee and track day to day account activities.
- Attend customer events with the Account Channel Manager where required.
- Develop strong and productive relationships with partners at your assigned accounts.
- Co-ordinate activities with teams across HARMAN to support your accounts.
- Work closely with Logistics to ensure all information is available to facilitate shipments to meet customer requirements, communicating with all parties as required.
- Provide reports on delivery blocks and credit holds to ensure the timely resolution of these issues.
- Support Account Managers and Distribution Partners including activities related to product availability, order confirmations, order processing, product shipment, account status and after sale follow-up.
- Working closely with Distribution Partners to gain a full understanding of their current stock profile, sales out performance to target, forecasted orders and major project opportunities.
- Management of backorders.
- Take ownership of issues reported by Distribution partners or Account Managers and work collaboratively with interval teams to find satisfactory resolutions.
- Work with technology specialists to translate new product introduction to Distribution partners by way of a consensus forecast, demonstration units and launch plans.
- Work with Bid Desk where necessary to issue supported pricing.
- Distribute information on and support your account with approved incentives, promotions and marketing communications activities.
- The individual must be able to manage time and priorities effectively with little supervision.
- Interface with various internal departments to plan and initiate customer requests. Create all documents and forward to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure documentation and processes are in compliance with ISO and SOX guidelines.
