Consortio Security are looking to recruit 1 Relief Security Officer to join a team on a Logistics site in Immingham DN40 2PN
The selected candidates will form a successful team supported by an on-site Security Supervisor.
To be considered for this role you must hold an active SIA License be it a Door Supervisor or Security Guard and a SIA CCTV License. You also need to have a current First Aid qualification and have excellent customer service skills as the role involves working with employees and visitors to the site.
If you have a lack of people skills or struggle to communicate, please do not apply for this role as a huge percentage of it will involve talking to employees and visitors and you won’t enjoy the role.
This role would suit someone who is flexible, able to think on their feet, who is able to constantly prioritise tasks ensuring that the most important issues are dealt with first and foremost.
A telephone interview process will take place and any unsuitable candidates will not be put forward for a face-to-face interview with the Regional Operations Manager.
Previous Logistical experience in a fast paced environment would be beneficial but not essential as long as you have a ‘’can do attitude’’ and a ‘’will to succeed’’ you will be successful in the recruitment process and the subsequent role.
MAIN DUTIES:
Main Duties include: Controlling access and egress to site, booking staff and visitors onto the site, person searches involving hand and wand searches, vehicle and cab searches, Seal checks, monitoring of CCTV across the site, immediate first aid management prior to the emergency services attending the site, fire evacuation and testing procedures, coordinating safe movement of staff and visitors whilst they are on site, Health and Safety checks as well as proactive and reactive incident management.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purpose of the role: To provide an efficient and professional security service to Consortio Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism, customer service and integrity.
DUTIES:
Control access and egress, utilising the equipment and systems provided
Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are secure
Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
Accurately operate and test designated alarm systems
Monitor CCTV systems for protection of people, property, and assets
Conduct person searches inclusive of wands as well as hand searches
Vehicle and cab searches
Complete the daily log, noting all appropriate activity
Produce accurate reports as and when needed
Ensure all procedures, site / assignment instructions and protocols are always followed; being particularly diligent when in an emergency situation
Maintain tidy and clean work areas
Dealing with post as and when it is delivered and handing it to the necessary responsible person
Ensuring personal boundaries are always adhered to making sure that the line is never crossed
Be an effective ambassador for Consortio, always smart and diligent with high levels of integrity
Previous Logistical experienced in a fast-paced environment would be beneficial
The above duties are subject to additional duties as per the site’s Assignment Instructions; however, in the event that there is a conflict of duties, the Assignment Instructions will prevail.
SHIFT PATTERNS AVAILABLE:
The shifts times cover 0600-1800 & 1800-0600 nights
