The Litigation/Regulatory Lawyer provides legal advice to senior management up to Director level.
The aviation industry is incredibly complex and the work is varied and interesting. This an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills and move forward in your career. You'll deal with issues of high level exposure and use your expertise to lead in a manner that is legally sound, practical and actively supports the operation and its strategic objectives.
In our fast paced and constantly evolving sector, you'll;
- identify the implications of new or emerging legal issues
- be actively involved in the creation and implementation of policies to address identified risks
- use your judgment to identify when to bring in more senior lawyers where the potential impact of actions or decisions on BA as a whole is high.
- be commercially astute, sourcing local and foreign external legal advice at appropriate levels of quality and cost.
We are seeking:
- Qualified solicitor of barrister with c3 years or more post qualification experience in private practice or in-house
- Broad litigation experience essential
- Regulatory (particularly aviation) experience desirable
