An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurses to join the multi disciplinary team in the Acute Stroke Unit/ Ward 5 within Ninewells Hospital.
Ninewells Hospital is one of 3 regional centres for thrombectomy care which covers the North of Scotland alongside NHS Grampian, NHS Highlands and NHS Fife.
The successful candidate will join a team developing and embedding patient pathways and models of care in thrombectomy and in-patient thrombolysis treatment. There is opportunity to work within the TIA clinic and contribute to the overall Hyper-Acute Stroke Service.
You must have the ability and commitment to work as part of a team delivering high standards of patient care and continue to improve patient experience. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have evidence of continued professional development and an interest in Acute Stroke Care. You should also have an interest and awareness of The Scottish Stroke Care Audit and Standards. There will be opportunities for further professional development and progression to MSc level of study for successful candidates.
You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of this service
You must be registered on Sub part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
