Gap Healthcare is well established, working with Services that are managed to a high standard and we are looking for Registered Nurses with the confidence and ability to make a difference. As the registered nurse you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of care is provided and the service is compliant with policies and procedures.
· Salary: up to £18 - £20
· Hours: Full time and Part time hours available
· Area: Bedford, Bedfordshire

Responsibilities
· Assist the Service manager in delivering care that helps improve the health of each resident.
· To promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
· To provide assistance in developing and updating care plans when required
· Ensure medication is ordered, administered and stored in line with NMC guidelines.
· Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met and company policies and procedures are followed.
· Develop and promote good communication with residents, relatives, and team members.
· To assist in the development and implementation of the activities programme
· Liaise with GP’s and other professionals to ensure outstanding care for the residents is maintained.
Skills Required
· An active UK PIN is required for this role.
· Previous experience working in a similar role.
· Up to date knowledge of clinical practices and working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
· Strong leadership and management skills
· The position requires the candidate to be computer literate, good numeracy and literacy skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Must be a commutable distance from Bedford, Bedfordshire.
