Due to our incredible continued expansion plans, here at Tortilla we’re looking for an experienced Regional Operations Manager to join the family! We'd love you to be a proven Area Manager, Operations Manager or Business Development Manager in a similar quick service restaurant environment, but we're also keen to to hear from you if you’ve spent time running a region of pubs, restaurants or contract catering units. Most importantly you'll have proven experience of leading a team of GMs to deliver exceptional performance through financial accountability, high levels of engagement, consistently great contribution and team development in a branded environment.
Key Accountabilities
People
- Engage your team by providing clarity of business goals through regular planning and communication
- Ensure that your team understand their own personal contribution to the business goals and through ongoing coaching exceed in their own role
- Effectively manage the results of store teams, ensuring that any gaps in performance are highlighted in 1-to-1s and personal development plans are created
- Engage in continued talent mapping and succession planning
- Motivate and reward your team through clear communication of KPI achievement plus individual and team recognition
- Encourage effective team work and regular communication between Managers across the estate
Sales
- Contribute towards the creation of an environment that creates great guest experiences
- Proactively plan store activity around annual marketing campaign calendar
- Assist store managers with identifying opportunities for top line sales growth
- Drive venues to achieve positive L4L sales and beat sales budgets
- Encourage venues to develop local brand awareness and community relationships
EBITDA
- Regularly review forecast sales and rotas, ensuring store managers achieve labour cost in line with budget
- Review weekly reported data to ensure all stores are achieving budget GP and encouraging relevant investigations where appropriate
- Perform monthly P&L meetings with GMs to review performance, highlight issues and maintain all costs in line with budget
Standards
- Ensure that all members of your team are aware of the brand standards they are expected to consistently deliver, leading by example
- Communicate team performance against brand standards on an individual and team basis addressing any areas of inconsistency
- Ensure store compliance with all systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure store managers maintain a safe environment for employees, guests and other visitors through excellent hygiene, equipment maintenance, risk assessments and safe systems of work
