GEZE UK has an exciting opportunity in our Service Division for a Regional Manager to lead our team within the London North region, based at our Leighton Buzzard office.
Role Purpose:
As the Regional Service Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the London North service region delivering against operational and financial targets. You will lead a team of service technicians and co-ordinators to provide exceptional service to our customers in providing maintenance and repair works. You will be required to maintain effective regional customer relationships and acquire new customer opportunities. By actively managing KPI’s you will ensure the London North region meets operational and financial targets and consistently meets our customers’ needs.
The role includes:
- Managing the day to day operations of a busy service office covering the London North region. Ensure that operational and financial KPI’s are met/exceeded. Ensure a constant focus is maintained on margins and making efficiencies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Managing and maintaining all regional customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are attained, to include regular customer account review meetings. Nurture and maximise new opportunities across the London North region.
- Leading, coaching and supporting a regional team of field and office based staff to deliver the highest level of customer service to our regional and national customers.
- Supporting and motivating our field and office based staff to ensure they carry out their duties to their best ability and in line with expectations. Address issues as they arise and provide support to staff where required.
- Ensuring new staff are equipped with the tools and training to undertake their role and support them throughout their probation and beyond to undertake their role in line with expectations.
- Managing relationships with internal colleagues to ensure that national service account KPI’s are maintained and/or improved.
- Managing the activities of Service Technicians in the region to ensure that budgetary targets are achieved against customer expectations.
- Managing and improving our data management and process systems in conjunction with IT department.
- Working with our contracts department to resolve Warranty & Contractual issues.
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous experience of successfully managing small team/s in a customer facing environment.
- Previous experience of working to operational and financial KPI’s, has a sound understanding of financial metrics including operating costs, profit etc.
- As a strong leader you will have proven ability to lead, coach, support and motivate teams in their roles to enable individuals to work at their best at all times. Is able to be flexible in approach depending upon the needs of the situation.
- Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships as well as converting new sales opportunities.
- A full UK driving licence with flexibility to working hours due to requirement to travel. Ideally based within 1 hour of the Leighton Buzzard office.
- The ability to work flexibly depending upon the needs of the regional office, be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- The ability to problem solve and work with others to find solutions to meet customer needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Comfortable with data and able to articulate data to problem solve/make recommendations to ensure continuous improvement.
- Be computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office especially Excel. In addition knowledge of SAP would be advantageous although not essential as full training will be given.

Salary: £40,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
