Schedule: 8:30AM – 5:30PM (M – F)

OVERVIEW:
A Freight Forwarding company is looking for a motivated candidate for in our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices, obtaining approvals, and issuing payments.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in balance sheet reconciliation to ensure proper classification and valuation of assets and liabilities.
- Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions accurately.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate finance initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles.
- Assist in budgeting process by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Proven experience in accounting or finance role.
Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask under pressure while meeting deadlines.
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
