Job description
The Best Connection are looking for a Refuse Collector for one of our clients based in the Matlock area.
As a Refuse Collector your duties will be: Working outdoors in all weathers, use of tail-lift (training will be given) Collecting bins from the general public and commercial premises. You will be on your feet for most of the shift and covering around 5 miles plus daily. The work can be labour intense and some heavy lifting maybe required. As you will be working amongst the general public you must have professional Manner at all times. Must also hold a full UK licence as you will be required to
Hours:
Monday to Sunday 07.00 to 16.00 (5 days out of the seven)
Skills and qualities:
- Able to work on own and part of a team
- Must always adhere to health and safety
- Physically demanding job due to being on feet all day
- Polite and professional at all time
- Happy to work outside (all weather conditions)
- Able to take direction from full time members of staff
- Happy to work some weekends
- Full UK Driving licence
