Saïd Business School is recruiting for a Receptionist reporting to the Reception Manager.
The Reception team are key members of the wider Central Services department. This is a full-time role, consisting of 5 shifts per week Monday to Friday. Receptionists provide cover between 7am and 6pm, on a rotating shift basis.
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for people visiting or calling Saïd Business School. It is essential the post holder projects a smart, professional image with a helpful, efficient approach when dealing with colleagues, students and visitors. Excellent administrative and IT skills and a pleasant telephone manner are essential. This is a busy and varied role which requires flexibility and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Previous experience of working in a busy environment as part of a team will be beneficial.
Saїd Business School operates across two sites: Park End Street and Egrove Park. The post holder may occasionally be required to work at the opposite site, if required.
A few of the responsibilities:
  • Greet all visitors to the building in a professional and friendly way ensuring efficiency and high standards of customer service at all times.
  • Operate the visitor/contractor access card system.
  • Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries efficiently, effectively, appropriately and politely.
