Job Title: Hotel/Apartment Receptionist
Location: Mansio Suites, 117 The Headrow, Leeds
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Receptionist to join our team at the prestigious Mansio Suites in Leeds. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests and tenants have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, a professional demeanour, and the ability to handle various responsibilities with efficiency and grace.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests and tenants in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival process.
- Handle all guest and tenant inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about the hotel/apartment, its facilities, and local attractions.
- Manage email communications with potential guests and tenants, ensuring timely and detailed responses to their inquiries.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with tact and empathy, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing reservations, updating guest and tenant records, and maintaining accurate files.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience, coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments as necessary.
- Maintain a presentable and organised reception area, including managing the flow of incoming and outgoing guests and tenants.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous manner.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including email, reservation software, and other relevant applications.
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility in working hours. The position will require you to work 5 days a week, usually Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm. However, will also require weekend shift on occasions and holiday shifts.
