Job description
Position Summary:
Provide support to the department/site ensuring quality service through timely and courteous assistance. Provide service support to patients who request our care. Support phone center, front desk duties and check-in responsibilities either in a permanent or rotating manner. Answer calls in a timely, pleasant and professional manner, document service requests, schedule appointments according to provider rules and guidelines, confer with patient to obtain and confirm pertinent billing and demographic information, accurately enter patient and insurance information into system and complete the patient registration process in an accurate manner. High School education or equivalent, 6 months related experience and basic computer skills preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, human relations sensitivity, listening and telephone etiquette skills, medical terminology knowledge desirable, accurate keyboarding skills, comfort in asking patients for co pays and race collection, ability to promote and maintain good patient relations and patient confidentiality.
Additional Information:
This position is 0.6 FTE ( 48 hours every two weeks) hours 830-5pm M-F with a few varied shifts at Plymouth Park Nicollet Clinic located at the corner of Hwy. 101 and 55 in Plymouth. The frontline position supports Primary Care which consists of 15 Providers, plus supports Urgent Care, and OB/GYN check in. We serve both pediatric and adult populations. Our clinic is a new two story building with a beautiful view overlooking a natural DNR habitat. We offer free parking, electric car charging. We are fortunate to have many other serve lines that are located with our building and work closely with .
