Staff Auditor

We are seeking a recent accounting graduate to join our team as an entry-level accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks.

To succeed in this role, you should have a basic knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and principles, as well as:

• A high level of integrity and ethics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills

As a Staff Auditor your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct audits of federal government agencies and organizations in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS)
• Develop audit plans and procedures.
• Gather evidence and perform tests of controls.
• Prepare audit reports.
• Maintain and update audit files and records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited school
• CPA or 150 Credit hours Preferred
• Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required)

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
