Job description

We are looking for a receptionist for our dental practice in the Murrayfield area of Edinburgh. It is essential that you are enthusiastic and good with people. We are a small team and you will not just be a number in this job as you will be a vital member of the team. We will also consider dental nurses who want to work more on reception but also work in clinic from time to time if required.

Perfect candidate should have

• Professional, positive and cooperative manner
• The ability to work unsupervised
• Excellent interpersonal skills including a pleasant telephone manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Good administrative skills including basic computer skills

Daily duties will include

• Greeting patients at the door
• Booking appointments
• Rearranging appointments
• Taking payments
• Answering telephone queries
• Keeping waiting room clear
• Cashing up at the end of the day

8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Work Location: In person
