The Corus Hotel Hyde Park (389 bedrooms) is located at Lancaster Gate and overlooks Hyde Park in London. With easy access from Heathrow (Paddington Station) and towards central London this hotel is the ideal choice for every company looking for accommodation or conference rooms. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly and approachable Receptionist, who have the ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure.
We are part of Corus Hotels, a successful privately owned company with 8 hotels across the country.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team Front Office team as a Receptionist.
The Receptionist will be a hands on individual, reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be will be responsible for providing reception services for Guests. You will contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.
Duties include:
- Assist all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, wherever possible going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
- To ensure that all guests are dealt with promptly upon arrival and departure, following the Company’s Core standards.
- Be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and whenever appropriate offer this information to the guest.
- To ensure all documentation i.e. checks/bills are completed as necessary and carried out as per the hotel and company standards.
- Professionally and competently operate the telephone system in line with operating standards.
