Hi, are you an admin Superstar that loves chatting to customers on the phone, engaging with past customers, enjoys working as part of a team, and can think on your feet(we do give you a chair to sit on!)?
This is a varied & interesting role working closely with Caroline and Rhiannon, our Bookings Team Gurus. You will primarily be taking inbound and making outbound telephone calls with customers for our oven cleaning appointments.
But if you like variety ...you will also be calling customers to remind them to rebook, sending our reminder letters, serving customers that walk into the office to book and liaising with our employee and franchisee OvenGleamers.
OvenGleamers is a professional oven cleaning company run by Catherine and Graham Rogers. We started in 2004 with one van and now in 2023, we have grown to 6 professional OvenGleamers and a network of 30 franchisees operating under the OvenGleamers brand.
As we are a small business we like to try new things so your job will be to keep customers happy, bookings running smoothly, and filling up the OvenGleamers work diaries. Our constantly changing business means your role will always be interesting and you’ll need to embrace organization and be happy with producing accurate work.
We now need another member to join the Bookings Team as Sandra (a veteran of over 6 years here) is moving on to a fresh challenge and we'll sorely miss her. Hers are big shoes to fill but rest assured you'll get all the training and support that you need to gel into the role with the help of the friendly team here.
Our ideal candidate will love variety in their work and be able to use their initiative to get things done and solve problems as they happen but done with positivity and a smile on their face and always be mindful of how our customers are feeling and what they need.
What we need our Super New Team Member to do:
- Take calls for quotes & bookings for OvenGleamers - these are clients who wish to have their cookers gleamed
- Use a variety of software to book in appointments, take messages and payments
- Answer messages on our Social Media pages
- Send out customers' emails, texts, reminder letters, and newsletters
- Phone customers to check that they are happy with our services, remind them to rebook, and advise them of our current offers.
- Be responsible for the past customer engagement programme
- Be responsible for collecting reviews/recommendations from customers
- Serving walk-in customers
- Meet Team weekly targets for sales and bookings
- Touch type - there's lots of information to take when booking!
- Help keep office clean and tidy
- Share tea/coffee-making duties - we all share this!
- Join us at our Christmas and Summer parties
- Laugh with us when things go a bit mad!
Skills we are looking for:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. You must enjoy dealing with the public as you will be the first point of contact.
- You must enjoy being highly organised and have good attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook and Google Docs.
- You are comfortable working as part of a close-knit office based team - being aware of what others are doing around you.
- You can think on your feet and problem solve.
- You need a positive, self-confident, get things done attitude and not be afraid to work hard to achieve targets.
- Be honest and reliable
We have one role available:
Working 5 days per week from 9 am-5 pm. You would get 28 days per year holiday including Bank Holidays AND your Birthday as an extra day off.
We work in our own offices in the middle of Pill which has been made Covid-19 Secure for the office team. Free parking is readily available and the buses stop right outside the office. Free Tea/Coffee, close to local shops, birthday cake several times a year (we are now a team of 11 so cake most months!!)
