Our client is a very modern and forward-thinking legal practice that specialises in family law.
Paralegals (trainee) now required.
Training contract available and study funding available after 12 months.
Now currently looking to recruit two Family Law Paralegals/(Trainee) Legal Executive to join our organisation on a permanent basis. The opportunities have arisen to join this exciting, motivated, dynamic and inclusive company at our offices based in Sheffield. This is an ideal opportunity to help make the successful transition from paralegal/trainee legal executive to trainee solicitor, qualified legal executive or career paralegal depending on aspirations and ability.
The ideal candidate must have:
· Excellent academics with a law degree or equivalent, and an understanding of family law
· Excellent inter-personal skills and understanding of the importance of outstanding client care
· Ability to work independently and prioritise caseload where necessary
· Excellent IT skills
· Previous paralegal experience would be preferred, but is not essential.

What’s in it for you?
It’s based in our Sheffield office but there is an expectation that, on occasion, the candidate will travel to our other offices in Manchester, Leeds and London (with expenses paid).
Hours are full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
We offer hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days working in the office. Depending on experience, there may be an initial period of training when the candidate will be expected to be in the office 5 days per week.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Hall Brown offices are closed between Christmas and New Year and every colleague is required to use part of their annual leave allowance to cover that period (usually 2-3 days).
Salary of between £19-23k depending on experience.
Contributory pension scheme after probation period has been passed.
We have a 3 month probation period.
Paralegals are seen very much as the future of Hall Brown and whilst there are some career paralegals, assuming the candidate wishes to progress their career, there will be opportunities to apply for a training contract after at least 12 months or the firm can offer funding for CILEX if they wish.
Full training and mentoring is in place to help our paralegals along their legal career.
Paralegals are encouraged to get involved with BD and will be invited to attend awards dinners and events for which expenses will be paid.
