If so, this could be the ideal job for you. We have a vacancy for a Radiographic Assistant in the Department of Radiology.
The post involves caring for patients, preparation for examinations, housekeeping, clerical and general administrative duties in all areas including X-ray, CT and MRI Scanning, Ultrasound and Mammography, as well as assisting with PACS image processing.

You must be able to relate appropriately and sensitively to patients needs in the imaging department. Previous nursing or health care worker experience would be advantageous. You must also be able to work as an effective team member alongside Radiographers, Radiologists and Assistants to ensure the efficient provision of the imaging service.
Good interpersonal and communication and IT skills are essential as is the ability to work under pressure.
You will be required to provide assistance and care for patients within the Department of Radiology. In addition to :
- Providing support and assistance to Consultants and Radiographers.
- Work within a professional, self managed patient care team and perform housekeeping and support duties of high standards whilst rotating through all sections throughout the department.
