For full details of this interesting and vital role, please see attached job description, but some of your responsibilities will be to: Champion and promote quality as a key focus within maternity services and across the health system to improve clinical productivity and effectiveness. Lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of quality standard systems using a multidisciplinary approach Provide leadership, expert advice and resource on quality improvement methodology and delivery Ensure that the maternity quality and safety program is fully integrated with all relevant Trust programmes and initiatives. Provide expert advice to senior clinicians/managers on the successful delivery of small- and large-scale change projects. Advise on the criteria for approving and prioritising projects and eliminating those that do not support the trusts quality/safety objectives.
Ensure that all quality improvement projects within the remit of the role are delivered efficiently, escalating any risks or concerns to the Lead Midwife for Clinical Governance to ensure delivery of objectives on time and within the defined resource allocation.
