Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Principal Engineer., based in Aberdeen.
We require a principal engineer with, preferably, an instrument and control background although others will be considered. This role is to perform engineering reliability studies and related study work for the Functional Safety lifecycle for our clients based in UK and Overseas. This permanent position is based in our Dyce office. This role would also support and have responsibility for organising SIL assessments and other similar studies and be accountable for the timely delivery of engineering reports and other key documentation. The following are requirements for this job, although other candidates that can bring other qualifications and/or experience will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (minimum)
- Chartered Engineer (preferably)
- Experience with an EPC company in projects
- TUV FS Engineer qualification (although this can be provided where required)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Able to plan and monitor project activities.
- Focus on attention to detail
- Good level of familiarity with Microsoft Office products, such as Word and Excel
