Quality Inspector
Our Client based in the Outskirts of the Fareham area are looking to add a skilled Quality Inspector to their team. The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection, with a strong attention to detail. The company can offer a very competitive package and is open to a trainee looking to build a career in inspection or a Time served Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate will have CMM Programming experience, however, for the right candidate there will also be opportunities to learn CMM programming.
Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- 1st off, last off inspection
- FAIRS Creation
- Working with hand held measuring devices
- Knowledge of CMM would be a bonus
- Calibration
- Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications
- Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines
- Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team
- Recording of all relevant information for audit purposes.
Quality Inspector Benefits and salary
- Days based role 7:30am-4pm Monday to Thursday & an early finish Friday
- CIRCA £15.00-£20.00 per hour
