The Company:
Located on the West Sussex coast in a 12,000 sq. feet facility, our client has been providing gas turbine repairs for over 30 years. They have created a one stop shop for component repair.
They excel in creating and developing component repair schemes for our customers that wish to recover components which proves "cost effective over purchasing new parts".
Their highly skilled workforce has grown over the years, with training and development at the forefront of their success.
Their customers include blue chip MRO companies, with whom they have long standing relationships, backed by their reputation in offering a cost effective, fast turn-time, reliable service.
In recent years they have manufactured low volume new parts by utilising our in-house equipment and have capabilities to produce parts up to four feet in diameter.
They have wide ranging accreditation which include CAA, EASA, FAA, ISO9001 & AS9110, and MRO specific company approvals such as Safran & Siemens.
They currently support Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Industrial Power Generation, Nuclear, and General Engineering markets.

The role will be 50/50 hands-on inspection and administrative duties, such as updating KPIs, leading daily material review board meetings and managing stock levels.

Following training and the adequate conduction of day-to-day validations, the QI will undergo training that will provide authorisation to do release signatories. Once in this position, they will become part of the MFT/SLT, report NCs coming into the business and have a role in strategizing the companies QMS. There is progression into a more technical Quality Engineer position or into the management route.
Their close-knit team work in a fun, focused manner, in a clean, airy and bright workshop environment.
