Job description
The ideal candidate will be accountable for the effective, efficient and economic running of the area of responsibility, and cover for the Line Leader as and when required.
Responsible for ensuring the department is fully staffed andtrained at all times
Daily allocations of stocks are to be adhered to and kept up to date
Attend appropriate team meetings as required by the management
Scales to be operated as per the procedures ensuring that all product is scanned into production and any faults are reported to IT/Maintenance immediately
Monthly stock takes to be carried out in rotation,i.e.1 in 3 months
Adhere to Company hygiene practices & food regulations at all times
Comply with health & safety rules, to help prevent and minimise the risk of accidents
Carry out any additional duties that may be reasonably requested by the Despatch Manager.
Previous experience in a warehousing/ manufacturing environment desirable, but not essential
PC literate
A team player with the ability to be self sufficient
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Good communication skills
Must be highlyorganisedand have excellent attention to detail
