Job description
The position will be day shift working, however applicants must be flexible to work shifts, weekends and be prepared to come back out of hours when required.
- The successful candidate will monitor, measure and action internal performance (e.g. ICMS, OLE, RFT, Cost of Failure, etc.) to maintain and develop the quantitative and qualitative service provided to the customer through customer scorecards / IQM portal measures, for both 0km and Field (warranty) to ensure customer satisfaction sustained
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships in line with internal/external expectations, and
- Coordinating cross functional teams to complete corrective and preventive actions
- +3years of automotive engineering and manufacturing experience within a tier one supplier, of which the most recent will have been within a Quality Engineering discipline (or a role where suitable responsibility for qualitative deliverables and success can be proven)
- Able to take ownership and responsibility to drive topics to conclusion
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels, engaging constructive communication in terms of education What and Why to enhance knowledge and understanding
- Able to lead and influence a cross functional team where direct authority does not exist
- Preferably qualified to HND level within a related Engineering discipline (Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace etc.), Minimum of an HNC qualification within a related Engineering discipline
