PURSPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Quality Auditor will inspect components and finished goods to ensure that our products meet the required specification. This will involve visual inspection, taking measurements, performing tests, keeping records, providing information to other members of the team and production.

A key part of the role is balancing the workload and releasing components and finished goods within the agreed lead-times, whilst ensuring compliance to Coty policies and procedures.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Time Management and Prioritisation
Prioritize workload according to production, planning and shipping needs
Complete inspections of finished goods and components (& labels) within given lead-times (pre batch file review) to allow batch file release
Manage Inventory according to standard operating processes, managing block stock and expired materials
Ensure good working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders

Problem Solving
Provide quality standards and defect ranges (panoplies) to operations
Maintain appropriate records for all inspection activities in SAP
Investigate, report and track nonconformities and complaints
Raise quality notifications and take part in root cause / problem solving investigations
Lead RCI’s and strive for Strong CAPA’s to avoid reoccurrence for both FG’s inhouse rejects and Component rejects at Suppliers
Contribute to and participate in continuous improvement activities as required (Lean Events, FMEA’s, Projects, Root Cause Problem Solving
Continuously explore cost reductions/ waste reduction strategies
Attend first production runs (Demigrands) or Line Trials as QA representative and advise on any quality issues.
Manage Auditing of lines to ensure certification and continuous awareness of operating lines performance
Track and trend Data for all aspects of Quality measures to ensure Quality KPI targets are met
Ensure the equipment being used is working correctly and is within calibration.
Manage master & retain samples Escalate issues to the appropriate individual and offers solutions

Technical
Perform inspections on all types of components and finished goods, using Coty test plans and methods (CTP/CTM’s and PTP/PTM). Assist with colour review of new products as per the written procedure.
Ensure standards comply to ISO 22716 or ISO 9001
Ensure data is recorded in relevant system or application (MS Office or SAP)

GMP Standards
Adherence to HS&E, Quality, GLP, GMP (ISO 22716) and Hygiene Policies.
Responsible for 5S within the QA department
Follow all written work instructions
