We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as Business Transformation Manager
Role Purpose
As a Senior Programme Manger within the HSBC Asset Management Business Transformation (BT) function you will lead and support change initiatives supporting Regulatory Change. BT helps in delivering those initiatives throughout the complete programme lifecycle / end-to-end ensuring effective management and oversight utilizing Group’s Change Frameworks and tools. This includes support in planning and prioritization, cost estimate and management, solution design, project delivery, quality assurance, roll out and transition to BAU. The successful candidate will work with Business Sponsors, Programme and Project Managers, Data Management team, IT and Operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide and assist with the management of adherence to scope and requirements (functional and non-functional) to ensure the projects remain on track.
- Coordinate the rule interpretation and impact assessment for the regulatory changes in conjunction with Legal and Compliance.
- Define the target Operating Model, Business operating and Service models
- Engage with key stakeholders, define project requirements
- Analysis of data provided and refine to detail scope and work required
- Assist locations in implementing global operating model and procedures
- Provide leadership and governance oversight
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Extensive experience in a senior change transformation position within Asset Management or other similar markets.
- Able to work on own initiative and demonstrable experience of leading large programme teams.
- An individual with a proven track record of leading the design, development and delivery of global projects, across geographies, time zones and with multiple stakeholders.
- An in depth understanding of the asset management business with a strong understanding of products and the regulatory framework in the asset management business.
- Prior experience in compliance and/or regulatory change programmes is desirable.
- Confidence and track record in building sound working relationships with key stakeholders, securing project resources or priorities from them through persuasion and influence rather than necessarily authority.
- Strong analytical ability to support decisions with sound reasoning. Ability to interpret regulatory changes and assess implications on business through detailed analysis.
- Self starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and who can influence and motivate people around them.
- Detail orientated with the ability to prioritise projects and deadlines.
