Job description
Fully qualified Butcher or Trainee Butcher, must have retail shop experience, smart appearance, good English and communication skills. Long established Family Butchers.
The Job Responsibilities:
· Counter and Multi Deck Replenishment and serving customers throughout the day.
· Excellent Customer Service skills are essential.
· Breaking down carcasses into primary and secondary cuts.
· Knowledge of meat cutting and techniques.
· Preparing cuts for weighing and packing.
· Ensuring work areas are clean and compliant with all food safety and hygiene standards.
· Part-time from 24 hours. Will be required to cover for holidays
- Full time 40 hours
The Candidate:
· Work efficiently as part of a team and being able to work and meet timescales.
· Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
· Follow and adhere to our company standards, standard operating procedures and follow legal guidelines for Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
· Have enthusiasm, energy and passion.
· Must have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Fluent English
· Either of the job roles available:
Skilled Butcher with a minimum of 1 years’ experience
Trainee Butcher - no experience necessary – must be willing to learn
