Position Title: Quality Assurance Analyst, Senior
Reports To: Technology Manager
Department: IT Savings & Retirement
Term: Permanent Full-Time
Work Arrangements: We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately November 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.

S&R Systems Quality Assurance covers a specialized area dedicated to high-quality application and solution delivery for applications supporting the Savings & Retirement lines of business. Your activities will include planning, developing, coordinating, and participating in the full suite of testing activities including functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing activities for core systems.
What you will be doing:
- Create and maintain test strategies and test plans
- Perform automated and manual testing
- Ensure solution satisfies project scope and goals
- Assist in test analysis and participate in technical analysis meetings
- Track defects and issue resolution
- Production Support – may assist with testing of tickets opened by the business partners
- May provide guidance for junior or intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst on medium to large projects
- Work closely with developers, other IT resources, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
- Look for opportunities to gain testing efficiencies such as automation
- Five (5) or more years of software testing experience, test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking
- Sound knowledge of QA practices, tools, methodology and processes
- Two (2) or more years of experience in test automation
- Hands on experience with automation test tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, JMeter, Azure Test Plans, etc.
- Experience with test automation scripting languages such as Python or Javascript, C#
- Experience with Test Management tools such as HP ALM or Microsoft TFS, Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of web service testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman
- Experience with XML file manipulation
- Experience with SQL
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative
- Awareness and understanding of cultural diversity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, College diploma or equivalent work experience
- Experience in Savings & Retirement systems such as: Unitrax, FundServ, Ingenium, ExStream, and FASAT an asset
- Knowledge and Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Continuous Integration an asset
- Experience and/or knowledge with Performance Testing
- Have or working towards QA Certification an asset
