About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Operation's Director to oversee HR Workforce Operations and Payroll for its International region. This is a great opportunity to lead this international team across all of payroll and workforce operations and to contribute to setting and operationalizing the strategic direction for the function.

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operation's Director to oversee HR Workforce Operations and Payroll for its International region. This is a great opportunity to lead this international team across all of payroll and workforce operations and to contribute to setting and operationalizing the strategic direction for the function.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee HR Operations and Payroll teams in International locations (London & Hong Kong).
- Oversee the full cycle of Payroll processing and Workforce Operations for 20 counties in EMEA and APAC.
- Recruit and develop the best-in-class talent subject matter experts across these international teams to provide high levels of operational excellence, efficiency, risk management and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for improving operating procedures in conjunction with Risk and Compliance guidance to substantiate audits.
- Determine appropriate strategies and practices to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, efficient working practices and strong risk management across international payroll and HR workforce operations.
- Coach resolution approach to organizational objectives, develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy. Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers and lead team to achieve business objectives.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the function, including input into budget, performance against budget and efficiency initiatives such as global delivery models .
- Ensure international and jurisdictional regulatory requirements and applicable collective agreements are understood and addressed across the team,
- Ensure processes and practices comply with relevant regional employment legislation and regulator expectations.
- Oversee identification of risks & issues, escalating appropriately, and resolving problems
- Educate and partner with enterprise HR Operations & Payroll leadership to ensure International is appropriately considered, including early engagement on matters that impact International.
- Understand and ensure compliance with international governance requirements regarding inter-company service provision, offshoring and outsourcing and international financial services local regulator requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience of International Payroll experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Extensive years of Management experience
- Significant end-to-end experience in international Payroll, Payroll Tax, HR Operations and Audit
- Experience with Workday Payroll, ServiceNow, ADP Global View Payroll and CloudPay Payroll.
- Ability to develop, manage and motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and embrace change in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships across complex, matrixed, enterprise structures.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment.
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong change management skills, technology proficiency, systems thinking and quality orientation.
- Drives for problem solving, execution focus, accuracy and quality across the teams.
- Comfortable leading and navigating change and transformation with an operational environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills.
