Invergowrie Primary School
You will work collaboratively as a member of the school team assisting in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of a pupil requiring 1:1 support and across the wider school. You will support learning ensuring those with additional support needs can effectively access the curriculum.
You will provide support and assistance in the dining hall and playground to ensure pupil safety.
The Individual
You should be able to provide appropriate behavioural and emotional support to pupils in the school. Specifically working 1:1 with a pupil requiring high level support.
Teamwork and communication are vital skills that are required. A genuine interest in the development of children and their wellbeing is essential and important qualities are empathy, patience and an ability to engage with children and young people.
