We are currently recruiting for an Artworker/Pre-Press Operator
Our pre press operator will work alongside the production manager and print team to develop the skills needed for pre-press. To include enfocus switch operation, cre-ation of print ready files, digital artwork and all aspects of print finishing.
Training and full support will be delivered on the job by the production manager.
Full training will be provided in the following fields:
1. Digital and external print
2. The operation of workflows through enfocus switch to maintain lean operation within
production
3. The process of Colour Management for Digital Printing to achieve high quality
output.
4. Providing excellent service to customers through our e-commerce website
5. Health and safety training
The Production Manager will provide the following support
1. Daily/regular check-ins to ensure all targets will be met
2. Training schedule from the production manager to meet the needs of a
pre-press operator
3. Cross-training with the team to enhance knowledge of print
4. Health and safety training and development
The candidate requires:-
- A flexible approach to working and be able to work effectively as part of a team
- To be able to follow policies and procedures as instructed.
- Good team work skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Adobe creative suite experience (Photoshop/Illustrator/Adobe)
