Steeped in history, the Border Minstrel pub is a contemporary gastropub nestled in the heart of High Gosforth Park, an area of 812 acres of woodland that also includes Newcastle Racecourse and Parklands Golf Course. Open 7 days a week, we showcase locally sourced produce from the North East of England and a range of drinks that includes a selection of traditional ales, craft beer and specially selected wines and spirits.
As the general manager you will ensure all of our customers are happy, provide top class service along with consistently great food and drink. In addition to managing staff, recruiting and training and leading a first-class team other tasks will include, stocktaking, cash handling, adhering to budgets, health and safety, food safety and licencing law regulations to name a few!
