We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, hard-working person to join our family-owned car business in Sidcup Kent as a Professional Car Valater/ Detailer, preparing vehicles for customer viewings and collections.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Prepare, valet and check vehicles to a high standard
· Steam clean engines, wheel arches, wheels etc.
· Wash and clean vehicle exterior.
· Vacuum and shampoo upholstery and carpets as appropriate.
· Clean all glass, interior trims.
· Polish and wax all exterior paintwork (machine polish, as required) applying gels and other finishes to bumpers and trims.
· Apply ceramic coat paint protection and interior trim protection.
· Quality check that all work meets the company and customer high standards.
· Be conversant with latest detailing techniques and vehicle preparation products
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The following skills and experience are essential. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience:
· Possess two years experience working as a professional valeter/ detailer.
· Experience using a buffing machine.
· Experience using a high-pressure steam cleaner.
· Experience working with and handling cleaning chemicals.
You must also:
- Be able to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
- Have great attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
- Be clean, tidy, well organised.
- Be able to work effectively alone or as part of a team.
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
