Established in 2001, RHC Lifting Limited is a leader in the servicing and maintenance of lifting equipment and in the design and manufacture of innovative lifting solutions.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Fabricator / Welder to be based at our head office in Yate.

Reporting to our Workshop Manager, the Fabricator / Welder will be responsible for:

• The fabrication of structural steelwork.
• Stick / Mig welding.
• Setting up welding machines based on the job in hand or using a Welding Procedure specification.
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Ensuring that work is done safely and meets all quality standards.
• Providing a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.

To be considered for this role you should demonstrate:

• The ability to identify and measure material.
• The ability to produce quality products consistently and on time to meet the company's deadlines.
• The ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
• Knowledge of machine and tools.
• The ability to read fabrication drawings, callipers, tape measures and angle gauges.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.

This position is 40 hours per week, 8:00 - 4:30, Monday to Friday.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
