The Service & Business Improvement division of Age UK are currently recruiting for a proactive self-starter to join their friendly and supportive team as a Project Support Officer.
The successful applicant of this exciting opportunity will join the established Network Infrastructure Programme team, which works with Age UK’s 130+ local brand partners in transforming their back-office systems.
As Project Support Officer, you’ll carry out a range of duties to assist the team in the coordination, planning, monitoring and delivery of the Programme. From researching and meeting with relevant suppliers and organisations, to assisting with the development and maintenance of project plans. You’ll have an appetite for learning new skills and systems, and the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders clearly and concisely.
This is an exciting hybrid opportunity, offering flexible working between home and a central London co-working hub.
Must haves:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to report on progress (in writing and verbally), with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage data from multiple sources.
- Relationship development and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to demonstrate an appetite for learning, and a want to learn more about the systems Stakeholders use.
- Ability to present data and reports, including preparation of tables and graphs.
- Excellent data entry and analysis skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to organise meetings and arrange travel.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners in order to meet objectives.
- Confidence when dealing with people from different levels and backgrounds.
- Ability to prioritise competing deadlines and workloads.
- Ability to work across multiple projects.
- Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft 365 functionality.
- Project support skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and autonomously.
- Experience of managing individual projects to meet organisational objectives and achieve deadlines.
- Proven ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
Great to haves:
- Experience of uploading and maintaining content on intranets.
- Experience using Jira.
- Awareness of case management and rostering systems, and their use in enabling the delivery of services to older people.
- Experience of Salesforce.
- Experience of Charitylog.
