REQ ID: 117261 JOB TITLE: Specialist Vehicle Sales Lead SALARY: Up to £55,000 (DOE) POSTING END DATE: 23/10/2023 LOCATION: Coventry - the role will be split across Whitley and Oxford Rd, Ryton-on-Dunsmore Beyond Property, Purchasing, HR and IT, more than being part of our Finance or Marketing teams, beyond even Sales and Service, every role in every business area offers unique opportunities to make an impact on the future of mobility and the automotive industry. This is a unique role within JLR that will appeal to those specialising in niche luxury products. The role is within the VIP Relationships team, a small team responsible for managing the sales of specialist ultra-exclusive products, our Bespoke and personalisation offers, and maintaining meaningful client-centric relations with JLR’s top global clients. With the planned return of an iconic armoured product at the pinnacle of our Modern Luxury offerings, this role will have responsibility for supporting the direct sales of all our armoured vehicles. There are two distinct client groups with different sales needs that will need to be supported equally; I. Ultra-High Net Worth individuals (UHNW) seeking the ultimate in protection and luxury. II. Governmental / Protection services making a rational purchase via tender process. The role involves working closely with the Vehicle Personalisation team, the wider VIP Relationships team, vehicle scheduling, and the respective market sales teams to manage clients through the sales process and deliver on the sales objectives. WHAT TO EXPECT Develop sales strategy to expand business into new markets and customer segments. Generate, coordinate and manage VVIP client information using GDRP compliant CRM tools Be responsible for the smooth execution of sales process from confirmation of restricted party screening to delivery with customer expectation as the minimum benchmark. Monitor and analyse sales data to generate sales reports for presentation to senior managers. GAP analysis to identify new opportunities. Collation and circulation of customer feedback and competitor information to key stakeholders. Be able to communicate technical specification of products to our clients in a clear and accurate manner. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Proven sales experience, ideally in a low-volume or specialist sales environment Ability to forge confident relationships with a broad spectrum of clients, from governmental team members managing a tender through to UNHW VIPs A good technical understanding of the whole vehicle, and ability to learn highly technical and specialist knowledge around armouring. Comfortable challenging with strong influencing and engagement skills - able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.
