Malvern International are experiencing a period of rapid growth and therefore a restructuration and expansion of the sales division. For this reason, we are looking to bring onboard a highly motivated Direct Sales Executive.
JOB PURPOSE
The Direct Sales Executive is accountable to the Head of Direct Sales. As part of this role, you will be responsible for liaising with students from all over the world to study English language in our language centres located in London, Manchester and Brighton.
RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES
Sales processes
- Be responsible for providing excellent experience and accurate information in the pre-arrival stage of communication with potential students: replying to all email, telephone, WhatsApp, chat and social media enquiries in a timely manner;
- Promoting our products and services by up-selling and cross-selling when opportunities arise
- Strive to meet students’ needs and find solutions to any potential issues; overcome barriers
- Daily follow-up of the enquiries by email, WhatApp and phone, adding value in emails, calls and messages
- Provide excellent experience to walk-in students who visit our London Centre
- Meet and exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly targets
- Communicate effectively with the academic, operations and accommodation teams
- Analyse communication received from potential students and make note of any issues that may be impacting the sales processes, then report to the Head of Sales
- Take part in Hubspot CRM, customer service and soft skills training programmes
- Record all steps in communication with a potential student on the Hubspot CRM software
- Assist in training new members of the team
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation
- Undertake any other duties as required
- Cover for other sales team members if needed
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience, skills and knowledge required to undertake this role:
Essential:
· Must have the right to live and work in the UK
· Successful previous experience as a sales representative
· Technology savvy and willing to learn
· Enjoys problem solving, open-minded
· Committed to continuous education through workshops and courses
· Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly, helpful and efficient manner and ability to remain calm in busy times
Desired:
· A first degree or equivalent experience.
· Experience of working collaboratively with people of various nationalities
